How can I ever capture these two in one post? If you are looking for an example of love in its rawest form, look no further. These two share one of the most genuine loves that I have been blessed to capture with my camera. They hold nothing back when together. Their goofiness is an integral part not only of who they both are individually but also of who they are as a couple, and I cannot tell you how fun it was to capture their moments of fun and joy together on their special day.
Karen and Evan's ceremony took place at Evan's home church and the reception went down at the Grant-Humphreys Mansion in Denver, Colorado. A live jazz band lit up the night, with the Cubs World Series game streaming at the back of the dance floor, as guests swayed the night away or milled about on the terrace sharing drinks and laughter with the newlyweds. It could not have been more picture perfect.
Fun facts from Karen and Evan's day:
- Every single member of the bridal party, as well as both pastors who performed the ceremony, were all graduates of Hope College, where the Bride and Groom met.
- Karen's gorgeous dress was custom made from pieces of her mother's wedding gown.
- The bride flew back to Denver the day before her wedding after attending a Cubs World Series game in Chicago. Can you say hardcore fan?
Thank you, Karen and Evan, for letting me be a part of your beautiful day. I am so excited for all the adventures this new journey will bring the two of you!
